I’m Courtney, a Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-I & II) who supports individuals and couples in rebuilding connection, trust, and emotional safety. My journey into psychotherapy began through my own experiences with healing and resilience, inspiring me to help others feel understood, grounded, and capable of change. My work blends compassion, curiosity, and clinical skill to create a space where clients can explore their emotions at their own pace. I bring a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens to all sessions, which means you don’t have to race through your stories of trauma and we can make time to get to know one another before diving head first into the heavy stuff. By providing you with coping tools and believing that true healing happens when we feel safe to be fully ourselves, clients often point out that they came for the work but stayed for the care.

My therapeutic approach blends Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), trauma-informed practice, and somatic awareness. I focus on helping clients understand the emotional patterns beneath their distress (where we often get stuck repeating old patterns) and guiding them toward connection and safety within themselves and their relationships. Whether working with individuals or couples, I strive to create a balance between reflection and action—helping clients gain insight while learning tools for meaningful change. My style is gentle, curious, and direct when needed, always grounded in empathy and respect for your lived experience.

I have experience working with: Anxiety, Attachment Wounds, Body Image, Burnout and Stress, Childhood Trauma, Chronic Pain, Codependency, Depression, Desire Discrepancy, Emotional Dysregulation, Family and Interpersonal Relationships, Gender & Sexual Identity, Grief & Loss, Infidelity, LGBTQ+, Open Relationships & Non-Monogamy, PTSD, Relationship Issues, Self-Esteem & Confidence, Sex & Intimacy. Sexual Violence, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Sessions with me often feel conversational and exploratory. Together, we identify emotional cycles, patterns, and triggers while creating space for insight and self-compassion. You can expect gentle challenges, emotional validation, and practical tools to take with you between sessions so you aren’t solely focused on the 50 minutes and your work can expand into your everyday life. The atmosphere is calm, non-judgmental, and grounded in curiosity—we move at your pace while working toward your goals.
